Work Visa required?? - Honorary Contract

Hello!

I hope somebody here is able to help me, because the official website weren't that usefull so far.

I'm a consultant Trauma Surgeon based in Austria and going to do a clinical placement in London for 1 month.
Therefor I'm going to sign a honorary contract with the NHS and I'll receive no payment. I've already done the GMC registration.

The Goverment website says, that senior doctors are allowed to practice without a visa if they don't have a permanent post - on the other hand the website says I'm not allowed to do a placement?

So i got no clue what to do now? Anybody else from an EU country did something like that, and can share his/her experience with me?
