Skilled worker PBS dependent for UK born

Hi All,

we both are living in UK with independent PBS (skilled worker ) visa, my visa is 3 years as of now which is valid until May 2025

My wife visa is 5 years which is valid until 2028, So i have applied PBS child dependent visa for my new born ( Nov 2023 born ) from my wife as lead applicant

Home office is considering to issue visa until May 2025 because i have the shortest visa, I have paid the IHS until 2028 though they are issuing visa based on my shortest duration considering least duration and considering both parents has equal care and responsibility for upbinging the new born.

If they issue only shortest duration, will they refund the IHS for the remaining years i paid already ?
is the Visa tagged under my wife as dependent or my name ?

Is anyone experience this , please share your experience
