Anyone from Devon,UK

Hi there, my partner and I are just starting are Immigration journey and wonder if there are any other people on this site who are from our area in the South West of England.
We thought it would be nice to share the experience with local people. We would also love to hear from people who are not local to us also.

I'm 37 years old and I run a business in Plymouth that supply motorsport parts for cars and motorcycles as well as performance upgrades. My partner 'Jodie' is 31 and is a mechanical engineer for a water company. She is also has a Master degree in marine biology. She will be the priciple applicant as she gets more points than me.

We see there are many different views on the time span from start to finish with the immigration process but we're guessing somewhere between 12 and 24 months. Do you think this is realistic?

Hope to form some freindships during this exciting period.

Carl and Jodie

Sorry. I don't really understand your question?

I've just read my original post and it seems to make perfect sense :?

Hi
I was curious to see if you have had any response from CIC? We applied for citizenship to the London office in December 2006 and all we have had is an acknowledgment of our application 4 months later in April 2007...and nothing else since. Have you had any other contact? I have emailed but not had a response.
Thanks!

PS - we lived in Plymouth for 18 years!!
