Referees and Degree

Hi, I am hoping someone can answer these 3 questions:

1. I have my 2 referees sorted but they have signed in February. I am applying today or tomorrow. Do I need more recently signed referee forms or are the February ones ok?

2. I can't seem to find my original degree certificate for english language proof but I do have scans. Is it ok to upload the scan so they can confirm with the Uni? Or will they need to see a hard copy at some point

3. How soon after submitting my application will I need to upload documents - is it before i book the biometrics appt - is it immediately?

3. How soon after submitting my application will I need to upload documents - is it before i book the biometrics appt - is it immediately? Once you booked your biometrics appointment you will have up until 48 hours prior the appointment to upload documents to UKVCAS.
