MSc- 25 point???

i have done BSc & then MSc from Indian University(Bombay). Can i get 25 points? Has anybody scored 25 points for this type of education?

I did not show them the Bachelors degree and even then I got 25 points for my MSc(from UK) degree.

Junior0300, thanks for your reply. well, a UK degree shouldn't be a problem. My questions is more focused on the fact that it's a MSc from Bombay University and whether it is good enough to earn 25 points. I searched through this board and found numerous factors being discussed, like total years of education etc. i my case it is GCSE then 2 years of High School(A levels in UK), then 3 years for BSc and then 2 years for MSc.

Yes you can gain 25 points for Msc from mumbai.
I have got from mumbai as well.

dear Degree1,

There is no ambiguity about Indian Degrees, its not a problem with us, as we finish 15 years' education while doing bachelors and 17 years in masters. So, u can get 25 points of masters degree. Thats the problem with Pakistani degrees, majorly, as they have 11+3 not like us 10+2+3 for graduation.

dhavaluk, you are right. but what i heard is that u need 18 years of education for Master's degree or to get 25 points. Is this true? and that's why if u have an engineering master's degree, like a ME or MTech(10+2+4+2), only then u get 25 points. Is this correct?

just assess ur degree from NARIC wheather it is equalent to uk degrees or not.

Why are you worried then? Bombay university is very well recognised and well known reputed university in the world. You can straight away apply and don'w worry for the points, you will be awarded the points for your post graduation.

Hi,

Can I claim 25 points for education? My education details are as under:

1- Masters of Technology Education with 1 yr specialization in Industrial Management [16 yrs] 10+2+2+2 = 16 yrs

2- M.Sc Computer Sciences major in Software Engineering [2 Yrs]

So my total education years are 18 from Pakistan major Universities. Is that equivalent to 18 yrs of Education of UK? Please help me if you 've any authentic info. about it.
