2022 Skilled worker Visa, what should my pay rate be as a care worker??

Post by Joraffe23 » Tue Jul 16, 2024 11:26 am

Do the changes made since April 4th 2024, e.g Care worker, £23,200 (£11.90 per hour) apply to people who got their skilled worker visa in 2022/2023 and are still with same company.

So i earn over UK minimum wage, earn over £28,000 for 48 hours per week but i do not earn £11.90 per hour. Is this allowed as i earn over £23,200, or legally should i be on £11.90 per hour?

I have a 5 year skilled worker visa, my wage goes up each year alongside my collegues and i have no issues, however my employer is not sure and they are struggling to find out and asked if i may be able to discover an answer here.
