ILR - Spousal Visa

Post by santosh26 » Wed Jul 10, 2024 9:45 am

Hi

I am Applying for my ILR and have completed all the forms online. I am about to submit where i would like to clarify few things about the next steps.

1) I have a stamping on my passport as date of arrival which is 10th Aug 2019, my first BRP card start date is 12th Aug 2019 and my employment start date is 19th Aug 2019.

What is the earliest date before which i can submit my application form Online is it 28 days before the 5 years completion of the following

1) Date of Stamping - 10th Aug 2024
2) Date of Residence permit - 12th Aug 2024
3) Date of Employment - 19th Aug 2024

In continuation, after submitting my forms i will be asked for the payment of Fees, is it on the same screen i need to select for an Priority or Super Priority appointment. Or first i have to pay the fees for application and then i need to book for Appointments.

I also read that not all the cases will be applicable for Priority visa which is 5 days. What is the eligibility criteria for it as i would like to go for Priority visa application.

Appreciate your responses as i am in the current process of submission of my forms online

Thank you

Priority isn't guaranteed. It depends on availability. Folks here have reported to check around midnight, 1 a.m or 2 a.m.

Hi

Thanks for your response. This is very helpful regarding the timelines.

Can i know which link i should take the appointments. Also the regular fees of ILR has to be paid first and then you need to pay for the priority /Super priority visa's in a separate place.

Do you have any idea on how easy or difficult is to get teh priority appointments, I would like to use this service as i have some travel planned during August, otherwise i cannot travel because my passport will be with the authorities

Thank you

So not a spouse visa, whichnis a different visa category to skilled worker dependent visa.

Presumably you are completing form SET O.

You get the priority or super priority on the ilr fees page when you get to the page.

Priority or super priority has nothing to do with appointment. Priority or super peioritybis a ukvi service. Appointment is with a third party service for biometrics and identity check.

Thank you, Yes i am a main applicant and i am including my spouse and also my dependent son (14 years) in my application.

So the steps are as follows :

1) I fill the form and submit my application
2) It was take me to the payment page where i pay the fees and this is where i choose priority or super priority service or here i just pay my normal fees.
3) go to that external site which manages the appointments for Priority and Super Priority to provide my Bio metrics. Pay the fees and take the appointment.

The step 3 need to be done even if it is standard application as well right?

Also do you know anyone who has recently applied an ILR visa through priority or super priority service. Was it easy to get these appointments

Thank you

1. Yes

2. Yes but you pay all the fees here, for ilr and priority at the same time. You don't pay priority separate

3. The appointment has absolutely nothing to do with priority or super priority service by ukvi. The appointment is ONLY for identity check and biometrics enrolment with the third party agency UKCVAS.

Super priority is a visa service that determines how fast UKVI decides your visa application AFTER you submit your biometrics at the appointment. You choose to pay for a priority service when applying online only. There is no such thing as a super priority appointment, as during the appointment you just enrol your biometrics as advised before

Thank you I understand that i pay for Priority service at the time of making the payment for ILR fees.

After making the payment, then i need to go and book appointments for my enrolment of biometrics and identity. If i submit my application on 15th July and make the payment, then how sooner will be able to get my appointments for enrolment of biometrics and identity. Do we generally get within one week's time like by before 22nd or 25th of July

The decision timelines will be based on after i give my biometrics and identity.

Thank you

How soon you get an appointment depends where you are located and availability and what you are prepared to pay for an appointment.

You can also check various UKVCAS centres to see what date different locations have to fit your schedule.

Hi

General question i am about to apply for my ILR for my family of 4 members, the total fees is around 10K.

I am applying for all the family as one application because i am main applicant and my spouse with 2 dependent children. Do they accept the payment in two different cards.

I am in application submission screen where it is asking to select the service option below :

Standard Service - 10K
Priority service - 12K
Super priority service - 13.5 K

I dont have a limit of that much on one card to make all the payment by one card. Appreciate your quick response on this

Thanks

You cannot split the payment if all applicants in one application. You would have to apply separately to pay with two cards.

Credit and debit cards only.

You cannot do a bank transfer for the fees.
