Below is my timeline:
Solicitor used: Yes
Fee waiver application: 15th June 2022
Fee waiver approved : 11th July 2022
FLR FP First time Application submitted: 18 July 2022
Biometrics submitted: 6th September 2022
Wrote to my MP : 30th October 23. Got a response realtively quickly.
The Homeoffice wrote back stating that Flr fp applications are not currently subject to any service standards and I will be notified as soon as a decision has been made.
Wrote to my MP again: 10th April 2024. The same response from the home office.
Approval granted: 20th of June 2024
BRP card arrived: 22nd of June 2024
Passport arrived: 19th July 2024
I was granted under the private life route. I qualified under this basis of: "Adults, 18 or over, have spent less than 20 years in the UK and would have very significant problems living in the country you’d have to go to" I also came in to the U.K as a child, if that helps. I was put on the 10 year route, so i will be renewing every 2.5 years until i get to 10 years . Its been one hell of a journey and I'm so thankful to God Almighty that is over for now until my renewal . May God Almighty answer the prayers of all of you who are still waiting
