Hah they were super quick and already sent me a ceremony date for October.

Oh! I assume the date on the naturalisation certificate will be the date of the ceremony?

(Need this as I have to report my second nationality to my home country within 60 days).

About to start my application for my first passport.

I have the usual foreign travel passport which I know I’ll need to submit to HMPO. I also have an internal passport (ie equivalent of a national ID card) which is not a travel document. I assume no need to submit that?

Correct-no need to submit internal type “passport”. HMPO want to ensure that people don’t use multiple identities when travelling.
