Brother in law - Visitor Visa

Post by Smurf786 » Mon Aug 12, 2024 10:44 pm

Hi,

Helping my dad out to do a visitor visa for his brother in law. His going to sponsor his brother-in-law and had some questions.

1. As per immigration rule:
V 4.3. In assessing whether an applicant has sufficient funds under V 4.2.(e), the applicant’s travel, maintenance and accommodation may be provided by a third party only if that third party:
1. (a) has a genuine professional or personal relationship with the applicant;
My Mum who is the sister of the applicant. Would it be better if she was added as a sponsor, would this make the case/application stronger? Although she is already retired and does not work.

2. Sponsor has main Salary bank account, Savings Account, and another different bank account – Does the savings account / other bank statements, also need to be provided or just salary account?

3. In adobe pdf we can highlight is it ok to highlight on Bank statements the weekly payslip payments for sponsor?

4. Sponsor weekly payslips as bank statement is monthly not showing recent payslips on bank statement. Should it be requested from the bank? If so does this need to include a stamp from bank confirming it is original?

5. The sponsor property is mortgage free can the proof of property be the land registry if so they have the following docs available -

Document Fee
Title register (online copy) £3
Title plan (online copy) £3
Title register (official copy) £7
Title plan (official copy) £7

Which one of the above should be ordered?

6. Is a property inspection required for sponsor property?

7. Evidence of the relationship, if any, between you and your sponsor? For the sponsor (brother in law) what evidence could this be? Would it be money transfers etc?

Thank you for your help and assistance as always.

So what does this your uncle do for a living? TBH, it's entirely up to him. Take your dad out of the equation for a minute.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
