Documents Lost in Transit by HO

I need help and guidance on, documents lost by HO after it was approved.

Now i have lost the original documents which i submitted for HSMP approval. (Now Tier 1).

What is the best step forward. I have asked for reprint of the approval letter. But now i dont have the original degree and English Letter from the university.

Will they accept the copies for filing at the time of EC ?

This is ugrgent if some one can help.
