Want to apply Tier 1 from out of home country

Hi,

I am planning to apply for Tier 1 General work Visa for UK. I am resident of India but currently I am in one European country for an assignment from Aug 2008. I am still geting my salaries in India and get allowances all allowances to live here.

I just want to know what all I have to take care when I apply for the Tier 1. Can I show my Forex account also as a bank statement?

A FX account is an investment account from which you hold and derive an income. In the UK, all FX accounts are overseen by the FSA (Financial Services Authority).
If the accounts are in good order, then you *might* be able to use it to satisfy the maintenance fund criteria. However, it is best to confirm this with the Home Office.

I agree with your suggestions regarding Funds. But I have main doubt is that: Whats that what I need to be careful as I am going to submit my application from European Country and not my Home Country India. What document I will need to have in addition to the normal application. Also I am going to submit my Salary Slips from India as I am geting salary there only, is there any issue because of that.

I am going to submit all docs as below: Please let me know if I need anything else appart from these as I am applying from Europe.:

) All Educational Supportive
2) Stamped 12 Months Salary Slips from my company in India
3) Account Statements
4) Points Scored Form
5) Marriage certificate along with my wife's dependent application
