Question About Obtaining Certificate Of Sponsorship

Post by OA789 » Tue Aug 20, 2024 10:37 am

Hello,

Please, I am making this enquiry on behalf of a friend & his wife.

They migrated from Nigeria to the UK - last year.

The husband worked in Nigeria in a bank & also worked in Real Estate. They arfe both on Student visas.

His wife worked in education & has a Masters degree in education - from a university in the UK.

Please, would it be popssible to advise what steps they may take in order to obtain a Certificate Of Sponsorship - possibly from a company in the UK ?

Thank you very much !

O.A

Has the student completed their course?

To get a CoS, the course must have been completed and the person needs to find a job with a company willing to sponsor a visa.

Or apply for a graduate route visa that doesn't require a spk soring employer.

If the course has not been completed, you cannot switch to skilled worker visa or graduate route visa within the UK. The rules changed earlier this year.
