Hi Zimba,

Thank you so much for confirmation,

We have managed to file payroll with his new name , kindly advise if the below is correct

1) For claiming points for job existed for 12 months for the employee who changed the name im going to submit 12 months of payslips with old name and 1 month of payslip which is recent for the current month

2) I will mention new name for this employee to claim point for job existance, instead of old name in the ILR application

3) If he provide me with new passport and deedpoll, I will upload it with documents if not can i just upload the old passport with old name which I have

Besides this , is there any covering letter I need write to case worker about this ?

Is there any letter i need to get from employee about this name change except Deed poll and new passort ( if he have )

Just a cover letter is enough. I am not sure how many times this has to be repeated but this is a non-issue!

Dear Zimba

I received new passport and deedpoll documents for my emloyee who changed his name

He changed his name in early 2024 but didn’t informed me,

All payslips and payroll were in old name except the recent one which was in new name

Payslips between January 2024 to July 2024 were in old name

What is the best solution for it and what we need to mention on cover letter about this issue ?

Just what you wrote above goes on the cover letter. The applicant informed you they have changed their name on this date, etc etc

HI Zimba

I know you already advised me to write a cover letter and inform the date which my employee informed me about the name change, of course I will do it

but my concern is he changed the name on start of the year 2024 and the payslips were issued in the old name up until last month

I dont want it to create any issue on my ILR application about him informing late about his name change

Thank you for continued support

As I said, this is a minor issue and has no effect on your ILR. You really need to move on

Dear Zimba,

How many years of information we need to give for the question asked on ILR applicaton

" Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth? "

During extension i mentioned that I stayed in my home country from date of birth until the day I arrived in UK on Tier 1 visa.

Kindly advise me one it please

I have a big travel history with UK and other countries since birth and I dont remember all to be honest.

Hi Zimba,

Kindly disregard my previous post,

Please advise me on below

I was in the UK from 2004 to 2010 on a student visa. I also lived in Indonesia for a year before that. I lived in my home country from 2010 to 2019 before finally moving to the UK in Sep 2019. So what dates should I put in the question 'Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your birth country' for which I have answered Yes. and the dates I have given is from birth year to 2019. Would that be Ok? or do I need to mention to and from I lived in each country

During my extension application, for the same question I answered that I lived in my home country from date of birth until the day I arrived in UK on Tier 1 visa

Kindly assist me.

Hi Zimba,

I checked here on policy guidance, https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... _10.21.pdf

on page 9 its asked

(d) If you have made the investment in the form of a director's loan:
(i) it must be shown in the relevant set of accounts provided,
(ii) where the investment was made after 19 November 2015 and the date of application is
before 19 November 2021, the investment must be shown through readily identifiable
transactions in your business bank statements, which must clearly show the transfer of this
money from you to your business
and
(iii) you must provide a legal agreement, between yourself (in the name that appears on your
application) and the company showing:
(1) the terms of the loan,
(2) any interest that is payable,
(3) the period of the loan, and
(4) that the loan is unsecured and subordinated in favour of third-party creditors.

but its not mandatory requirements in the upload section of ILR application

Thank you Zimba, I got it

" You do not need to provide evidence of this investment if you were awarded
points under this table in your last grant of entry clearance or leave to remain
as a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrant.
"
