On August 1st I messaged FNE and received a confirmation that my application is being processed by a case working team.
Still waiting, hopeful and nervous. I've sent multiple emails to FNE the past 2 weeks but not gotten any reply since then.
The good thing is now I have an application ref number which I can use to chase them up next week during my weekly emails to FNE
August 25th Update: I received an Update that my application was being considered.
September 3rd Update: After Intensive Prayer and multiple emails to FNE, Citizen Support and Nationality Support I received an email from FNE that my application has been approved but I kept I wasnt sure whether it was a legit email so I sent messages to citizenship support
September 5th Update: I received a more informative email with approximate timeline on when to reach out to the council but that I should still wait for the official invitation email. I then sent emails to Stoke Council registry office regarding a request for private ceremony
September 9th Update: At 3pm I received a call from stoke on trent council asking me to book my private citizenship ceremony. I booked it initially for the 17th of September pending when I would receive the official invitation email.
September 9th Update: At 4pm I received the official receipt of approval then I later called up stoke council and brought my ceremony forward to Tuesday the 10th at 9am.
This entire process has been an emotional rollercoaster but I WANT to thank God and also the MODs here who have been answering all my questions.
Time to send out my passport application.
