Incorrectly selected 'Yes' to 'Is <partner's> s job on the immigration salary list?'

Post by fullmoenty » Mon Sep 30, 2024 10:48 pm

Hi, folks. I have just submitted an application for PBBS Dependant extension. One of the questions was 'Is <partner's> s job on the immigration salary list?' to which I incorrectly answered 'Yes' thinking it meant if my partner's job was on the Shortage Occupation List which was prior to this new ISL came in force. I paid a lower fee of £551. Can someone please suggest next course of action:

1. Will they ask me to withdraw the application or just pay the difference?
2. If they ask me to pay the difference, by experience, is the payment process easy like just punching in your card details and you should be good?
3. If I am asked to withdraw the application, how quickly will I be refunded the whole amount? Going to be a challenge to light both end of £3.5k bill for too long.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I suggest you cancel or withdraw your visa application immediately before submitting your biometric otherwise you risk losing your visa application fee once you receive email from UKVI for 'incorrect fee'

Hi, thanks for your reply. Since I am applying from inside UK, I have not been asked to attend a biometric appointment, or even asked to submit any documents for that matter.
