Youth Mobility Scheme Visa Switch Clerification

Hi

One of my friend is on Youth Mobility Scheme Visa and currently working in UK. His spnosor is happy to spnosor him.

He just want to know if he can switch within the UK or not. As I am seeing some posts said its is not allowed(Old Posts) and on some posts it said allowed(Post made in AUg 23). I think rules are recently changed and it is allowed to switch within the UK now.

Could any one please confirm if this is the case and he can switch in country?

Ukvi website clearly states which visas cannot switch!!!
