visitor visa for family friend

Post by silanu87 » Wed Nov 27, 2024 10:19 am

hello guys
I have a family friend planning to visit the UK for three weeks in April 2025. During their stay, they intend to complete a one-week certification program, and the rest of the time they will be staying with us.

I am happy to cover the full course fee on their behalf. Would this arrangement be acceptable?

Additionally, I plan to provide a sponsorship letter stating that I will be financially supporting them during their time here. Does this sound sufficient?

the guidance and support by everyone is highly valued.

just fyi, am paying the GBP equivalent for the course, and they would be paying me the local currency equivalent. I just to understand if this need to mention in the invitation letter, etc

That's Ok, but you don't need to even mention the course in the application.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Please also be aware that a successful visitor visa application depends primarily on your friend submitting documented evidence of strong reasons to return to their home country, without overstaying in the UK.
