FLR (M)

Post by rose07 » Thu Oct 10, 2024 8:16 pm

Hello,
I hope all is well.

Can you please help me with some questions I have below?

I have to apply for FLR (M) 2nd extension.

Q—My BRP expires on 31 December 2024, but my e-visa expires on 11 January 2025.
Please guide me on which date I need to follow.

Q- How many days before I can apply?

Q- Do I have to manage to pay scale £18,600?

Q- How many months of pay slips and B/Statements do I need to attach to the application?

Many Thanks
R

E visa is the main expiry date.
Q- How many days before I can apply? Anytime before 11 Jan

Q- Do I have to manage to pay scale £18,600? What does this even mean??

Q- How many months of pay slips and B/Statements do I need to attach to the application? Always 6 months.

Many Thanks
R

It's a renewal, so anytime before expiration of current leave. It all depends on when you entered the UK and if you'd still have extant leave .

Regards,
Like I have said multiple times already, "It is a renewal". You could even apply 6 months before expiration. However, if you apply too early, you get a new visa for 2.5 years only. If you're precise in your measurement/calculations, it takes you to 5 years. If you get it wrong, your visa expires before 5 years.

Then you have a shortfall, meaning, you'd need to apply for another visa. thereby wasting money.

You've given little information to work with. Do your calculations from date of entry into the UK.
