Dual Citizen Dad Applying for Citizenship for His EU Children

Post by gabitter » Thu Dec 05, 2024 9:23 pm

I am a dual citizen (EU/British), who received British citizenship in October.

I would like to apply for British citizenship for my two daughters aged 12 and 14. They are both EU citizens, have lived in the UK for 10 years and meet all the criteria. My wife is also an EU citizen. Which application form shall I fill in for my daughters in this case? I started filling in MN1 but I have concerns that it is not the right one -- it is not asking about time spent outside the UK anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

MN1 is the form to fill in for minors (under 18). There's no absence requirement for children.
Have you selected the right link?
