VFS Delhi Nov & Dec Applicants: Question on exchange rat

Can anyone who has applied from VFS Delhi in the past 2-3 months confirm whether they used the Oanda exchange rate on the date of application submission for previous earnings ?
VFS Delhi is aksing me to use the most recent exchange rate and not the one on last day of the claim period as mentioned in the guidance.
If you have received your tier1 with the above, please also confirm so.

make them read the Guidance note. You have to use OANDA for Earnings and maintenance funds. For Earnings it is the last day of your earnings claim period.

In any case VFS does not make decision on your application.
