Spouse visa Extension

Hello everyone,

I have a question. Would I be required to provide a TB certificate for my UK spouse visa extension? I live in the UK and have not travelled anywhere in more than 6 months.

I’m planning to apply for my UK Spouse Visa extension this week. My current visa is valid until June 25, 2025. Can I apply now, or must I wait until there are only 28 days remaining before it expires?

What date did you enter the UK on a spouse visa?

You can apply to renew now. You don't have to wait till expiration. It seems you arrived within a month of visa being granted.

I have come across this information - If the applicant is currently in the UK on a partner or non-fiancé(e) or proposed civil partnership visa, the date of application should normally not be more than 28 days before the current partner visa expires

Am I correct in understanding that I can only apply for a spouse visa extension 28 days before my current visa expires? My current visa is set to expire on June 25, 2025. Does this mean I must wait until May 28, 2025, to submit my extension application?

I’m feeling quite confused and would appreciate any clarification.
