Have you been to the UK in the past 10 years?

Post by GTVStott » Thu May 15, 2025 1:12 pm

Hello,

We are applying for my spouse's dependent entry visa (from outside UK) now that I have my ILR. My spouse entered the UK one time in 2014 and stayed without ever leaving for 11 years. We are not sure how to respond to the question "Have you been to the UK in the past 10 years?" as it does not allow an entry date over 10 years ago.

Thanks!

So where is your spouse now? Inside the UK or Outside the UK?
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Outside the UK - he has only just left for the first time since 2014.
