Query about 10 year ILR eligibility (ICT, SKilled & Dependant)

I have a query regarding my eligibility for 10 year route to ILR, as i had a gap between ICT short term and ICT long term and then switched to PBS Dependant Visa and dates are as below.

ICT Short Term = arrived to UK => 17/07/2015 and returned back to India 06/06/2016
------------Was in India for around 100 days and Switched to ICT Long term Visa.
ICT Long Term = arrived to UK => 20/09/2016 continued on this Visa until 21-03-2021
PBS Dependant Visa = Switched with in UK starting from 21-03-2021 till Date.

My query is will my 10 year eligibility to 10 year ILR route starts from 17/07/2015 or 20/09/2016 ?
And when can i file for ILR 10 years route path ?

If you left the UK with a valid visa and returned within 6 months with another visa, your continuous residence is maintained.
Given that the historical 10 years cannot be relied on, the 10 years are counted backwards from the date of ILR decision.

Yes i had left with Valid Short Term ICT visa and then returned exactly in 103 days with a new Long Term ICT visa and there upon is no gap other than short visit of 2 or 3 weeks visit to family.

hence based on your response i am eligible for applying to ILR on after 17/07/2025 , if counted the 10 year route from 17/07/2015 onwards.

hope that's right you had conveyed to me, sorry for re-query wanted to be sure before i start the filing process .

My PBS dependant 5 years is completing in Jan 2026 but looking at all these new announcements , believe its better to apply for 10 years , which based on your response is July 2025.

You should click on those links shared above and read them !!

You do not even need t count 10 years. You will be eligible when you are within 28 days of completing your 10 years. You should assume a date of ILR decision and count the 9 years and 11 months backwards. If that is on or after very first visa issue date, then you will be eligible to be granted ILR.

Hi Did you apply for ILR? I am in similar boat but for the next year.
