FLR M EXTENSION QUERY

Post by Makkivvv » Thu Jun 05, 2025 9:20 am

My employer wants a home office address for the letter to be issued. I told them this document is being uploaded online and does not need the address, but they still insist on having it to issue the letter, as I am currently working with them as a permanent employee.

Can someone help me with what address I can use in my employer letter?

Please note this is an extension for my wife, and it should be FLM (M).

Look online and pick any HO address, it doesn't matter. Croydon, Liverpool, Derby, Dover etc.. No one would look at that.

Since your employers insist, then you give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

FLR M EXTENSION QUERY

Post by Makkivvv » Sat Jun 07, 2025 8:20 pm

Hi Guru,

Extension for spouse's visa (wife). Could you please check the list of required documents for the extension to see if it is correct? If any additional documents are needed, please let me know. Your evaluation suggestions are very important to me..

• 2 years of cohabitation documents [ Joint Bank Account letter (both wife and husband), Confirmation letter from the dentist that both husband and wife have been residing at the same address for the past two years.
• Marriage Certificate
• 6 Months' payslips from my husband's employer
• P60 – My husband
• A letter from my husband's employer confirming the date he started employment and his annual salary.
• 6 Months' certified bank statements to fulfil the financial requirements.
• A scanned copy of my husband's British passport (every page) as proof of citizenship
• Land registry copy of register of title (Ownership of the property with my husband’s name on it].
• My Indian Passport (All pages)
• English Requirement CEFR – Level 1, which fulfils the requirement to extend this visa
• BRP card [Front and Back]
• Share Code - proof of immigration status
• TB test results. This requires again.?
Support Documents.
• Our new bour baby Birth certificate (DOB:xx/xx/xxx) and our newborn baby`s registration letter from NHS Scotland to confirm my and my husband`s residing address is same.

Husband Details
• Name: xx
• Nationality: xx
• Date of Birth: xx/xx/xx
• Passport Number: xxxxx

Child 1
• Name: xxx
• Nationality: British
• Date of Birth: xx/xx/xxxx
• Passport Number: xxxx
• Children live with us at the same address as we do
• How are you involved in their day-to-day life? What should I write here

Child 2 – A newborn baby
• Name: xxx
• Nationality: British
• Date of Birth: xx/xx/xxxx
• Passport Number: Applied for a British Passport but have not received it yet.
• Children live with us at the same address we live
• how you’re involved in their day-to-day life.? What should I write here
Should I also submit internet bills for the last two years, even though they are solely in my husband's name? Additionally, I have one mobile bill in both names, but that is only for 14 months, not for the full two years. Furthermore, the second mobile bill is solely in my husband's name and covers two years.

Show what you have, the aim is to establish that you still qualify for the visa as you're still living as a married couple. Don't fret, with the kids, job and all, it should be straightforward.

FLR M EXTENSION QUERY

Post by Makkivvv » Mon Jun 23, 2025 4:11 pm

I am submitting the online application (FLR (M) for my wife and would like to ask you the following question; I need your help
1.If you left the UK, do you and your children have family or friends in the country you would return to?
2.Shared financial responsibilities:Do you and your partner have any shared financial responsibilities? For example, council tax, utility bills, mortgage or rent, childcare costs, loan payments. this need to be shared only, or can sole responsibility apply to this? For example, does the husband look after all financial responsibilities?Family vacation packages
3 Does this child have extended family in the UK?
4 if you left the UK, do you and your children have family or friends in the country you would return to?
4 Please explain why you and your partner cannot live together outside the UK.?
5 would your children be affected if your application was refused?
6 Would any of your other family members be affected if your application was refused?
7 Do you have any other reasons for wanting to stay in the UK?

Your response to the above questions would be highly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

I am submitting the online application (FLR (M) for my wife and would like to ask you the following question; I need your help
1.If you left the UK, do you and your children have family or friends in the country you would return to?
just put down few names and relations.. e.g. your parents/ siblings / in-laws in your home country/city/state if any are still living there.
2.Shared financial responsibilities:Do you and your partner have any shared financial responsibilities? For example, council tax, utility bills, mortgage or rent, childcare costs, loan payments. this need to be shared only, or can sole responsibility apply to this? For example, does the husband look after all financial responsibilities?Family vacation packages - yes The council tax and Utilities Bill are in our joint names. My husband pays the Rent / mortgage. I pay for our groceries and holiday expenses from my
Bank account. whatever applies to your situation

3 Does this child have extended family in the UK? - Answer as applicable - yes or no

4 if you left the UK, do you and your children have family or friends in the country you would return to? - you can use the same names as per Q1

4 Please explain why you and your partner cannot live together outside the UK.?
My spouse is a British citizen and has got permanent job in the UK. He has been living in the UK for past XYZ years and has a settled life here which would be disrupted if we move out. Additionally, our children
are in full time education. We don't have any viable professional or personal contacts in our home country or elsewhere. So, we cannot live outside the UK.

5 would your children be affected if your application was refused?
Yes - My children have made close friends here and have
built a life around school and after school activities
like choir, Athletics, Swimming etc. They would
find it difficult to move out of the UK. They have
forgotten their native language, speak only English
and would find it quite hard to communicate with
the extended family.

6 Would any of your other family members be affected if your application was refused? - yes - spouse & children

7 Do you have any other reasons for wanting to stay in the UK? - you can input the that you have been here for many years, have a professional and family life in the UK. will not be a burden on taxpayers etc..

Your response to the above questions would be highly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance
These answers are just to give you an idea, you need to fill them based on your personal circumstances.

One more quick question, pls see below
.Shared financial responsibilities.? Husband is the sole financial responsible for the family and wife is not working. Will there be a issue for this.?
Please note I am earning enough to fulfil the financial requirements.
