ILR 10 Year Family Route

Post by 1kam1 » Sun Jun 22, 2025 1:29 pm

Hi,

I am going to be applying for my indefinite leave to remain on a 10 year family route. I am just a bit confused with the documentation submission as they have requested less paperwork from my previous application. Documents requested below:

1. All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to, or remain in, the UK for my partner
2. My passport
3. Evidence of parent responsibility for my child

Documents provided in the previous application.

1. My passport
2. Partners Passport
3. Biometric Card
4. My self employed earnings
5. English Language certificate
6. My children’s passport and birth certificates
7. Home office declaration
8. Home office verify
9. Proof of Cohabitation

Do I need to submit previous documents in this current ILR application?

Yes.

You need to submit all documents that are required for the application, regardless of whether they were submitted on an earlier occasion or for a different application.

The same will apply at naturalisation, where you will have to submit all documents required for that application, regardless of whether you had submitted the same documents for any former application, including for ILR.

Just make sure that the documents are required for the specific application. Don't resubmit everything as a matter of course.
