Naturalisation application SAR request

Hi all,

I submitted my application and biometrics for naturalisation in January, almost six months ago, but I haven’t received any updates since. I contacted the Home Office earlier this month and was informed that the application is still under process.

I’m now planning to submit a Subject Access Request (SAR) to check the status of my application, and I’d like to confirm that I’m taking the right steps.

I’ve selected “Specific request” and chosen “Confirmation of your application status.” Would this be the correct option, or is there a more appropriate one I should be using?

Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps I would select Other and explain you want records of your naturalisation application being processed. I don't know what other members have chosen.

Thanks! Funnily enough I got the invitation from council in the evening. Still waiting for the the email from UKVI.
