Urgent Advice Needed – Mistake in Visitor Visa Application (Monthly Income Entered Instead of Yearly

Hello everyone,

I’m seeking urgent advice regarding a visitor visa application for my mother and sister. We recently submitted their applications and have fingerprint (biometrics) appointments scheduled in two days.

However, we just realised that in the section asking for "Yearly Income," we mistakenly entered their monthly income instead. Aside from that, everything else in the application is accurate, and they are financially supporting their trip themselves.

We’re unsure of the best course of action at this point:

Should we cancel the biometrics appointments and submit new corrected applications?
OR
Should we keep the appointments and upload a cover letter explaining the honest mistake and clarifying the correct yearly income?

We’re worried that this error might affect the outcome, but also don't want to delay the process unnecessarily. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue or can advise what is generally best in this situation?

Any guidance would be deeply appreciated!

Unfortunately this is not an on demand forum. Members here are unpaid, regular humans with family life, jobs and life in general. Asking questions at almost 10 PM on a Friday and bumping it at 7AM on Saturday morning was never going to get you far.

I needed urgent advice from people who have more knowledge than me, and I posted the question on Saturday because the appointment was on Monday.
Does it say anywhere on the forum that we shouldn't post on weekends, or that we have to pay for help then?
Are you feeling happy now? Does this give you any sense of gratification?
