I often advise this but when the gap is quite short. You can try this approach with the standard visa service as you described. However, if they get to your application before your earliest eligibility, they may offer the extension again. This is all up to you

Thanks for reply zimba.You right but when I see the ILR time line here in the forum most of them got the ILR approval more than 2 months after biometric for standard service and if I'm lucky,mine will be more specially if they need more supporting documants .So I will try this appraoch and let you know the outcome.
