dependent visa extension when one partner has ILR

Post by RP2511 » Wed Jul 30, 2025 1:04 pm

I have the same question.
1) The application asks for COS details , do I have to provide them still by being in ILR?
2) I believe there is no separate application for dependent skilled worker visa of partner with ILR and partner with skilled worker , its all the same
3) Lets assume in IHS section I provide the 3 years length irrespective of how much years I need to extend, how do they know the primary applicant has ILR?
4) Along with COS details , it also asks for primary applicants UAN , should I provide the UAN of my old skilled worker application or my ILR application?

1. For a dependent extension, you need to provide the details of rhe last CoS you had.

2. There is only ONE skilled worker dependent form.

3. Obviously home office has your details as your dependents immigration is linked to you and you out your cos details in the form

4. Either UAN.

When I used my Cos Start date and end date , the ihs charges were very less, I believe this is the place I provide dates in future for correct ihs calculation.
1) Work Start date : date of current visa expiry
2) Work End date : 3 years later date or years remaining to qualify ILR?

Please do not tag your questions onto other people's topics!! Stick to your own topic, this one.

On the IHS page, you put an end date of 3 years in the future to get the correct ihs fee for 3 years.

Dependent skilled worker extension for partner with ILR

Post by RP2511 » Thu Jul 31, 2025 9:45 am

I am confused where i should provide start date and end date for IHS calculation.
I see there is a place for providing partner Cos details with start and end dates, but i am told
On the IHS page, you put an end date of 3 years in the future to get the correct ihs fee for 3 years.

When i go to ihs it only tells me to pay now showing ihs charge as £512 , no where i can see start date or end date.
Please guide me

2) my partner soc code is 2136 , its it not in the immigration salary list? Is that correct?
