Ca4fil,
You need £800 for yourself for three months and £1600 for your spouse for 3 months. Total £2400 and the balance MUST never have been below that not even on a single line on your statements. Remember the month you apply does nut count. They start from the previous month even if you apply on the 31st day of the month.
A Good Opportunity never occurs twice!

Hi Faisal,

See the link for details. http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply ... nt#8404072

Since you have been living in this country for the past 5 years, therefore you only need to show £533 for each dependent.

Hope this was helpful.

munisa,

I beg to differ. Read his post carefully - it says I have been in the UK for the last 5 years. Therefore - he only needs to maintain £533 for each dependent.

I think not. As per the guidance notes - if you have been in this country for more than 12 months - you need to maintain £533; regardless of your visa category (visit visa excluded of course). However, if anyone in the know thinks otherwise - please shout.
