Query about visit visa

I had been in UK for the last 4 years on global business mobility visa, valid till October 2025.

I am leaving UK by end of July 2025 for personal reasons.

My son is coming to UK by September 2025 on a study visa. Is it possible for me to apply for a tourist visa when the other visa is still active? I am thinking of accompanying him.

Please advise.

Why would you need a tourist visa, when you still have an active visa that allows you to enter the UK?

Are you planning to stay longer than October?
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
