Questions
1)Do we need any photos or other relationship proof since we will provide our marriage certificate & correspondence together?
2)Are the fees I listed at the bottom of this post accurate for us, given our initial application for this settlement route was in 2022?
3)In the last application, we needed to provide our tenant's passport number when asked if anyone else lives in the shared property. We just had a new tenant move in. Will this be a problem if he does not have a passport or is not willing to share his passport? (which is understandable) If he does not, then do we just explain that in the cover letter?
4)What happens now regarding BRP since everything is online?
5)The latest payslip, bank statement, & employment letter needs to be within 28 or 21 days?
6)Would it be okay to complete our application Sept 17th? I don't want to interfere with the 5-year settlement timeline days counted.

Current fees & financial requirements:
£1321 FLR (M) application (Applying from within the UK)
£2587.50 NHS Health Surcharge
£134 BRP Appointment (est. based on last appointment fee)
£18,600 income requirement (continuing settlement route from 2022)

Questions
1)Do we need any photos or other relationship proof since we will provide our marriage certificate & correspondence together? Not required. Relationship already established.
2)Are the fees I listed at the bottom of this post accurate for us, given our initial application for this settlement route was in 2022? system would tell you what you need to pay
Understandable, system would tell you what's required
4)What happens now regarding BRP since everything is online? You'll get digital version
5)The latest payslip, bank statement, & employment letter needs to be within 28 or 21 days? The closer the better.
6)Would it be okay to complete our application Sept 17th? I don't want to interfere with the 5-year settlement timeline days counted. You can apply anytime before visa expiration. Back in the days, you'd get an email telling to apply now (when due).

Current fees & financial requirements:
£1321 FLR (M) application (Applying from within the UK)
£2587.50 NHS Health Surcharge
£134 BRP Appointment (est. based on last appointment fee)
£18,600 income requirement (continuing settlement route from 2022)
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Too many bank statements. Bank statements don't necessarily show residency. Just saying. Try subbing with other government letters.
The FLR application states
Examples of acceptable evidence include:
Letters or other documents from
government departments or agencies, for
example HM Revenue and Customs,
Department for Work and Pensions, DVLA,
TV Licensing
Letters or other documents from your GP,
a hospital or other local health service
about medical treatments, appointments,
home visits or other medical matters
Bank statements or letters
Building society savings books or letters
Council tax bills or statements
Electricity or gas bills or statements
Water rates bills or statements
Mortgage statements or agreement
Tenancy agreement(s)
Telephone bills or statements

I have at least three different sources as required. I am providing bank statements, an NHS letter, a hospital Letter, a telephone bill, and a Department for Work & Pensions letter. Tenancy is also included in our application, as well as the housing cost bill.

Mar 2023- Dept Work & Pensions (me) Bank Statement (him)

July 2023- NHS letter (him) Phone Bill (me)

Nov 2023- Joint Bank Statement

Mar 2024- Joint Bank Statement

July 2024- Joint Bank Statement

Nov 2024- Hospital Letter (me) Bank Statement (him)

Mar 2025- Joint Bank Statement

July 2025- Joint Bank Statement

Sep 2025-tbd
Not required. Relationship already established.
Great, thank you for confirming this.
Understandable, system would tell you what's required
This is what the system tells me, it asks for the passport number for the tenant, which is why I asked.
You'll get digital version
WHat happens to the old BRP card?
You can apply anytime before visa expiration. Back in the days, you'd get an email telling to apply now (when due).
Thank you for clarifying.

I never said bank statements aren't OK. I said too many. You've pretty much used the same set of documents (sorta) from 2023 - 2025.

Just pointers!

You're always free to use what you've got. It is, what it is.

Thanks for clarifying. I thought you meant it wasn't a good choice to use since you said
bank statements don't necessarily show residency.
I was covering the 2.5yrs opposed to just 2 years which is why there are so many. I provided the variation required and just filled the gaps with the easiest valid joint mail we have, bank statements.
