Spouse visa Extension financial proof as self employed

Post by Teracota9023 » Sun Aug 17, 2025 5:04 pm

Hi Everyone.
I am applying for my spouse visa extension
I have some confusion regarding proof of self employed income . As i did my self assessment myself for the last financial year and i can prove it with SA 302 form as well
I can also provide home office with bank statements but my confusion is that in application for visa it ask for “ If not required to produce annual audited accounts, unaudited accounts for the last full financial year and an accountant's certificate of confirmation, from an accountant who is a member of a UK Recognised Supervisory Body (as defined in the Companies Act 2006) or is a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA)”
The problem is i did my self assessment return on my own and have no accountant for this so how can i get this certificate?
Is it compulsory to provide home office with accountants certificate?
Hoping for early feedback
Thanks
