way for ILR from Skilled worker Visa

Hi,

I have skilled worker visa from May2021 till May 2027. Now my company has put me in notice period on Aug 2025.My spouse has also a skilled worker visa which is valid till August 2027. Since I have already been in skilled worker visa for 4 years and 2 months, if I go on depended skilled worker visa on my spouse. Will my ILR time will be continued and eligibile to apply for ILR by May 2026?

If you switch to dependent visa,your5 year ilrock resets to zero.

You cannot use your main skilled visa time and dependent visa time to make up 5 years for ilr. The rules do not allow this.

You need either5 years as the main skilled worker visa holder OR 5 years as skilled worker dependant visa holder.
