Skilled worker visa switch after redundancy

Good Morning, I have a query regarding my Skilled worker visa. I am on skilled worker visa valid until August 2026, but recently my company closed operations and my role is made redundant on 30-Jun-25. I found a new employer, but my new employer doesnt have visa sponsorship license. They have applied for the license and informed me that the expected timeline is 5-6 weeks. Considering my last working day is 30-Jun-25 and i expect the COS to be issued in next 5-6 weeks (may be mid / end of Sep'25). wanted to check if i am ok to wait for the new COS to be issued or will I be considered oversayer since my company closed operations end of June. Need expert advise please.

To be precise i wanted to know the grace period start from the last date of my work or only after recieving curtailment letter.
