I have the same question. I was absent for more than 180 days during the first year of my 5 year spouse visa route. How does this affect my extension, ILR and citizenship application.

The extension and ILR are immigration applications. There are no absence requirements under the family route AT ALL

A nationality application is NOT an immigration application. It is an application under the nationality law which is a separate system with its own requirements. There is no 180-day continuous residence requirement under the nationality law
