FLR(FP) • Fee Waived • Still Waiting 5+ Months

Post by Nukib » Tue Sep 02, 2025 2:07 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm sharing our timeline and asking if anyone else is in a similar situation or has had a recent update.

We're a family of 6 (ON THE APPLICATION: 3 adults- 2 of which are adult children, 1 child UK-born aged 3). And the other 2 children who are not on the application are also UK born, one has a citizenship already with a passport and the other on the process of getting a passport. This is our second FLR(FP) application under the 10-year private/family life route, with a fee waiver.

Timeline:

Application submitted: 18 March 2025

Biometrics enrolled: 8 April 2025

MP contacted UKVI: No specific update given

Complaint sent to UKVI: Received a generic response — not exceptional

Still waiting: 2 September 2025

Last time, our case was approved in 6 months. This time it’s taking longer even though it’s the same circumstances, and my UK-born brother now has British citizenship.

Has anyone else with:

A family FLR(FP) application

Fee waiver

UK-born children
received a decision recently?

Any timelines or updates would really help. Thanks!
