Visit visa rejection

Post by Fattima1 » Mon Nov 03, 2025 10:45 am

Dear members,

Visa application for my husband has been rejected please see the below refusal reasons.

Could you please advise if the in future a visa application is made whether is will approved or not?

“The decision
I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 to V4.6 of Appendix V: Visitor because:
• You have applied for permission to enter the UK for 1 month to visit your spouse and
family. In assessing your application, I must consider information regarding your
intentions along with your own personal and economic circumstances.
• I am aware of the importance of maintaining contact with family; however I am not
satisfied that these outweigh my other concerns against the requirements of the
Immigration Rules.
• I acknowledge the letter from your representative and all additional documents you
have provided with your application.
• You state in your visa application that you are self-employed and earn 4,506,140
PKR (£12,130.30 as per Oanda.com on the day of assessment) per year. You state
you will be spending 1,550,000 PKR (£4,172.52) out of your own expenses on this
visit.
• I acknowledge the business bank statement you have provided. You have also
provided a personal bank statement (account number ending 933) with a closing
balance of 4,738,646.55 PKR (£12,756.20). However, your bank statement shows
multiple deposits of various amounts, and the information provided does not
demonstrate the source of these deposits. For example, on the 02/10/2025 your
account was accredited with 900,000 PKR (£2,422.75). Given this, I am not satisfied
this bank statement represents a true reflection of your financial circumstances and
that these funds are genuinely available or will remain available for your exclusive
use throughout the duration of your trip to the United Kingdom. This damages the
credibility of your application leading me to doubt our intentions in visiting the UK.
• Furthermore, in your application form under the heading Travel History (UK) the
question asks,
- For either the UK or any other country, have you ever been:
- Refused a visa
- Refused entry at the border
- Refused permission to stay or remain
- Refused asylum
- Deported
- Removed
- Required to leave
- Excluded or banned from entry
Visit refusal template - No RoA 19-Jan-22
OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE - PERSONAL DATA
OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE - PERSONAL DATA
You have answered no to this question. Our records show that you were refused
entry clearance on 11/12/2016. You have made no reference of your previous refusal
either in your application or the documents you have provided. This damages the
credibility of your application and raises concerns about your intentions to travel to
the UK at this time. Therefore, I am not satisfied of your intentions of entering the UK.
• In assessing your entry clearance application, I have considered all of the documents
and information provided against the requirements of Appendix V, and have also
taken into account the published Visit guidance. The guidance indicates a number of
factors which can help assess if an applicant is a genuine visitor, including but not
limited to the following:
• their financial circumstances as well as their family, social and economic background
• their personal and economic ties to their country of residence
The concerns noted in the paragraphs above mean that I am not satisfied that you have
accurately declared your personal and financial circumstances, which in turn means I am not
satisfied on the balance of probabilities that you are a genuine visitor. While I note the
information you have provided regarding assets in your home country, I am not satisfied that
these other factors outweigh the concerns noted above. Therefore, I am not satisfied that
you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor and that you will leave the UK at the end of your
visit. Your application is therefore refused under paragraphs V4.2 (a) and (c) of the
Immigration Rules.
NEXT STEPS
In relation to this decision, there is no right of appeal or right to administrative review.”

Many thanks

Your husband almost certainly does not qualify for a visit visa to the UK because, for a visit visa, he will need to demonstrate that he has stronger ties to Pakistan than he has to the UK, where he has a spouse and family.

What proof of strong ties did he show that would outweigh his spouse living in the UK??

Source of funds provided in the proof is also important. Large cash transfers without any proof of the reason for that cash transfer would be looked askance and would be disregarded or worse, would be seen in a negative light.

I might be wrong, but not declaring a previous refusal is a grave error. He might be refused future non-immigrant visa based on this.

He's been caught in a big lie.

The next step that could easily succeed is, if he applies for a UK spouse visa. The initial lie "could" be disregarded.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
