Confusing point about PSW application

Post by zea040 » Fri Jan 16, 2009 5:43 pm

Hello,

I'am sorry to ask this question again but I'am doing so because I havent got a clear answer for it maybe because I did not explain my question well.

To all Senior members, kindly help me with my question as I'am still confused and would need to make a QUICK but informed
decision on what I will be doing next. My question is:

"A person had a student visa for three years while he was studying for his bachelors, now that person graduated and applied for a NEW student visa
[entry clearance] from his country to study Masters. Now the question is, can that person while in the UK under his new student visa interrupt his
Master studies and switch to a Post-Study Work Visa under his Bachelors degree [provided, of course, his application to the PSW visa is made within one
year of him obtaining his bachelors award]" ?

I would be really grateful if you guys can clearly answer my question, above.

Bit complicated question.

But even if it is not possible, its worth a try at least. Maximum HO would refuse your application or may advise you to apply from your home country but it is not going to harm your status in any way. As you are not deceiving them or anything.

If I were you, i would try a shot. If your student visa is running out then you can lodge both applications together.

This raise a new question in my mind. It's out of the topic and sorry about this.
My question is, Is It possible to make Tier1 General and Tier1 PSW application together? if yes then how? I mean would you send both applications together and pay for both or if your first application say, Tier1 General is under consideration, can you lodge second application like Tier1 PSW.

Thanks
