Hello
i am appying this month set m for my wife(5 years flrm). i have self employment income £16000(last year profit) and my wife started a new job for the last 3 months total income £6000. can i combine our income (£16000+£6000)= £22000( required £18600) as she is working for only 3 months (not 6 months)???

i would really appreciate any help/knowledge?

Your self-employment income will be based on the tax year it was earned in (you need to submit a self assessment) and in order to combine that with your spouse's income, her income must have been earned in the same exact tax year too. What she earned outside that tax year cannot be combined with yours. The periods of earnings must match
