MN1 - Consent to application - for children age 14 and 17

Hi all,

I am currently completing my family's British Citizenship (Form AN and MN1) application. We hold Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). Since physical BRPs have expired (Dec 2024) and we now use an eVisa, I am unsure how to answer the following:

"Do you have a biometric residence permit (BRP)?" — Should I say "Yes" even if it's expired?

"Enter your BRP number" — Should I provide the number from my expired physical card or is there an eVisa equivalent?

The response to that question is less relevant.

You can respond either yes or no and it won't affect your application or eligibility for naturalisation.

Answer Yes as you had a BRP in the last 18 months.

Page 1 - parents consent - both me and my wife will sign here with details
Page 2 - guardian details - this is not applicable for us
Page 3 - Child consent - in some search results it says this is not required for both children, in some other search result it says this is required for both children in addition to parents consent in page1 and in some search result it says its required for 17 year old and not for 14 year old

Do not rely on AI on these matters. Children consent is not needed as you are applying for them, they are not applying on their own behalf. You can always get your children to fill it in in any case, worst that happens it is not needed.
