Leave to remain for UK born son

Post by tanvirni » Sat Jan 17, 2009 11:04 pm

Hi all,
I am a work permit holder(before the tier based system) and my wife is holding my dependant visa. Our son was born few months ago, so far I understand we need apply for his leave to remain. Which form we will use for him? Is he eligible for British Citizenship?

Regards
Tanvir

He is not eligible for British Citizenship through birth in the UK. He will have to follow on the same route you have, ILR then Citzenship.
