Re: Eligibility for British Citizenship – Wife and Child (ILR via 10-Year Long Residence Route)

Thank you for your guidance so far.
I would like to seek your advice on the following. We expect to relocate to another city in approximately two to three months. Would it be appropriate to proceed with submitting the spouse naturalisation (spouse of British and 3 years) and child registration applications using our current home address and school details, and then notify the of the change in address and In the interim, my child would be studying from home until a new school is identified at new place.
Should this change in new address and study arrangement also be formally notified at the time of the move ?
I require the passport to be available by June, and therefore I am unable to hold the applications until then. For this reason, I am planning to proceed with submitting the applications at this stage.

Kindly advise if this would be the appropriate course of action.

You can nominate a council different from the one you currently live.
Everything is done via email, including booking the ceremony.
Your plan has quite a few variables, so I wouldn't advise a new address until it is firm.
Remember, obtaining the passport is a separate application and HMPO will be quite busy going towards summer.

Apologies, my query is different. I would like to know how to update the address after submitting the application, especially in the case of changing from school to home education once I move out of the current address , until we settle into a new school.

Would I need to update both the new address and schooling option
details as mentioned above? Additionally, could there be any impact in decisions?

School arrangement not an issue. You probably should notify UKVI by email. Changing addresses won't impact the decision.

I understand that I must include my application reference number and my biometric date (application submission date).

Could you please confirm which email address I should use to email them?

Additionally, please advise whether I need to submit any address proof for the new address, such as a council letter, and whether an employer letter is required to justify the reason for moving while the application is still under processing.

Thank you for your guidance.

You find the email addresses in this thread

No need to submit any proof of address or employment letter for your move. Just email to say you have changed your address.
