Name Error on Citizenship Home Office email.

Hi

Received approval of citizenship and invitation for ceremony from Home Office. But I noticed that my surname on the email had a letter missing.

My application was correct hence error is from their side. Same error was on council email as well.

Hence I wrote to citizenship.support@homeoffice.gov.uk

1. ⁠It’s been 5 days already. How long do they take to respond?
2. ⁠Is that the right thing to do or is there any other email?

It may be the case that you need to attend the ceremony, get your certificate, and request a correction for free, given it is their mistake.
