visit visa dates award not in line with the initial request

Hello

We applied for a visitor visa for a relative stating they have to travel from 1 April to 10 April 2026. However, we got email notification today that they have been given the visa from 23rd April to 23 Oct 2026. Is there any way UKVI be contacted and requested to reconsider since the visa award dates are not in line with our stated travel plan dates.
