Hello,
I would like to invite my mother-in-law from Pakistan to the UK to be here for the birth of my 2nd child in 2months time.
I am a doctor working in the NHS with regular income and my own home. I am happy to sponsor her and bear all the costs.
The problem is, she is unemployed, has no bank account or finances. She lives with her husband who is retired and 2 sons who are working and funding the household. She is in her 60s and has had a recent sudden decline in her mobility due to a spinal issue- she will likely be wheelchair bound. She may have some land in her name that she has inherited.
Also, my wife has gestational diabetes and has struggled with postnatal depression which is another reason it would be great for my mother in law to join us.
Is it futile to put in an application due to the limited ties to Pakistan? What other options do I have?
Thanks in advance!
