Requirements for 5 year ILR

Hi all,

My partner came to the UK in October 2021 on Spouse Visa.
As it's nearly coming up to the 5 years, and so many of the requirements have changed, is anybody able to let me know what are the educational requirements apart from the Life in Uk test?
My wife has booked her B1 test for next week but we are hearing now B2 will be Mandatory not B1?

Also when is the best or earliest time to apply for her Visa? Appreciate all your help.

No requirement has changed for ILR under family route. The rules remain almost the same as the 5 years ago. There has never been an educational requirement under such route. Financial requirement remains the same as the extension.

The level of English language required for settlement to increase from B1 to B2, from March 2027

You are advised to apply within 28 days of completing the 60 months in the UK
