Work Experience Ltr Format and Applying within UK possible ?

Hi,

I am here on a UK business visa and am keen to know if I could apply
for the HSMP visa from within UK even though I am on a business visa ?

Also has anyone received an approval for a HSMP visa if the work
experience letters are not entirely in the format as required by the
homeoffice ? The reason I am asking this is because most of the work
exp letters I have are not having any description of the job duties
required nor are they mentioning anything about a Graduate Degree
Requirement ?

Would appreciate any helpful responses.

If you look at http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... eaflet.pdf

page 5 says the answer is No. So you should go back to your home country in order to switch.

If you still have time to wait for your application I would advise you to request new experience letters from your employers and send them as additional package. I have the impression that letters must be of the exact format as specified by HO.

BTW are from RO or BG?

Thanx Tons for the valuable info provided via the link to the home office site. Would it be possible to also provide me the format of the work exp Letters that I could request my ex - employers ?

Appreciate all the help extended. RO / BG went above me ?

I don't think there is a specific form.
As long as I can remember the requirements are:
1. company headed paper
2. stating dates of employment (from , to)
3. details about role/responsibilities which must show that this is a graduate role.
On my letters I even requested that people put a sentence saying this was deifinately a graduate level job.
Check HSMP guidence document in case I missed something.
