Advice on filling Naturalisation form

Hello,

I am applying for citizens as spouse of British citizens, meet all criteria except no of day around 360 in three years,Can you please validate some of my answers to application questions mostly under residence section, I have looked in earlier posts didnt find relevant answers:

1. Have you made any previous immigration application in UK-> should i say yes or no as i already have ILR

2. Under residence req.
a) do you meet these requirments->>should i say yes here even though my days absent in 3 years are around 346

b)please tell which of requirements you dont meent and reason for same->>Here i can mention my absence and reason for same , is that ok or mention i meet all all and ignore mentioning absence here

c)are there any reasons why you cannot meet the req. to become uk citizen--> should i put no and again mention absence here

d) immigration details - do you have any deatils to be considered --What is general response here

2. Under residence req.
a) do you meet these requirments->>should i say yes here even though my days absent in 3 years are around 346 you need to say no as you don't meet them

b)please tell which of requirements you dont meent and reason for same->>Here i can mention my absence and reason for same , is that ok or mention i meet all all and ignore mentioning absence here specify which one that you don't meet and say it's because you had too many absences. no need to say the reason for the absences itself

c)are there any reasons why you cannot meet the req. to become uk citizen--> should i put no and again mention absence here the answer is yes because you have too many absences.

d) immigration details - do you have any deatils to be considered --What is general response here ??? what is the exact question you are referring to?

how many absences from the UK do you have in the years prior to the last 3 years?

i understood all the responses, around the point how many absences do i have prior to last three years here is breakdown


>>04th Aug 2016-10 Feb2024 {Total no of days absent from UK}=766

Got ILR in July 2024 , whilst married to british citizen in April 2016. ILR was delayed as my second visa renewal was reentry ,applied from india as i was sick

No. days absenrt from 10th Feb2024- July2026 { 346}

I am planning to appy citizens ship in AROUND 20th Feb 2027 as this will allow me :

1. ZERO Absence from UK in last 12 months
2. No. of days absent from UK in last three years will be 346{Reson is my father in law passed away}

I meet all other criteria as i am full time employee , own a house ,english criteria and daughter is born here in 2024.

Please advise if this makes sense to get sucessfull through application.

Can you give the exact breakdown of absences in the years 2021-2024, with dates of leaving and returning?

Date of leaving uk. Date of returning uk.

08 Dec 2022. 27 jan 2023
30 Nov 2023. 04 Feb 2024

absences in the last 12 months: 0 from what you say
Absences in the last 3 years, from 20 Feb 2024: 346 days
Absences in the 12 months before qualifying period starts, from 20 Feb 2023: 67 days


You will need to demonstrate you established your home, employment, family and finances in the UK.
You can do this through a letter from your employer, birth certificate of your child with your name on it, mortgage statement with your name on it, bank statement with your name on it. Just to double check, do you own property or have assets in other countries?

Many thanks for detailing, so based of no. Of days I get discretion for absence?

For demonstration of establishing home, I can arrange all you mentioned .

Around assets in other countries, no I dnt own any property in say India where I belong from earlier but I do have some fixed deposits .would it be some issue or I need declaration in my cover letter

Also for bank statement is it ok if I submit around three to four statements of each year or need for every month.

If you demonstrate that you haven't had substantial absences in the 2 years before your qualifying period started (Feb 2022-Feb 2024) and that your life and finances are in the UK (through evidence I mentioned above, though I don't know for sure how many bank statements are necessary, I'd think 3 bank statements from this year should be enough) and that you don't have major assets abroad (so these fixed deposits you mention are not the same amount or more that you have in the UK) you will be given discretion. Depending on the entity of these fixed deposits it may be appropriate to declare them.
